Robert "Bob" Wickline, Sr.

Funeral services will be held for Robert “Bob” Wickline, Sr. age 89, of Perham, Minnesota on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Karvonen Funeral Home in New York Mills with Pastor Donna Uselman officiating. Robert was laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dent, Minnesota.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Robert Sr. farm on June 3, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Robert Lee Wickline, Sr. was born on February 2, 1934 in Ovid, Michigan.  His parents were the late Russell and Margaret (Dulock) Wickline.  He graduated from the Bush High School in Detroit, Michigan with the class of 1952. 

On March 3, 1956 Robert was united in marriage to Grace Margaret Horetski in Utica, Michigan. Their marriage was blessed with four children: Donita, Robert Jr., Debra and Daren. Bob and Grace made their home in Utica, Michigan for nine years, then moved to Clarkston, Michigan for seven years.  Bob drove truck over his career for various companies.   In 1973 Bob and Grace made their home in Dora Township, rural Dent, MN.

On June 2, 2000 Grace passed away. Bob has resided at Perham Living since 2020. On May 24, 2023 Bob passed away at Perham Living in Perham, MN at 89 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Bob in death were his parents; and wife, Grace.

Bob is survived by his children: Donita (Glen) Kimball of Detroit Lakes; Robert Jr. (Brenda) Wickline of Brainerd; Debra (Bruce) Erickson of Brainerd;  and Daren (Gina Hasch) Wickline of Dent; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friend.
