Otto Edwin Cameron Juvrud Jr. was born on September 21, 1941. His parents were the late Otto Sr. and Christine (Nyhus) Juvrud. Otto attended Country School District 117 in rural Leaf Lakes Township and graduated with the Class of 1959 from the Henning High School in Henning, Minnesota.
On November 25, 1961 Otto was united in marriage to LuJean Anna Nyberg of Henning. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters: Kimberly, Brenda and Lisa.
Otto was employed with Trites Turkey Hatchery, was a supervisor for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association of Scott County, the Minneapolis Star Tribune Newspaper, he owned and operated Juvrud’s Berry Farm and worked for Jennie-O Henning Turkey Hatchery.
On May 29, 2020 Otto passed away of atrial septum defect and congestive heart failure at Fairview Southdale Hospital at 78 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Otto in death were his parents; his wife, LuJean; mother and father-in-law, Alvin and Olga Nyberg; brothers-in-law, Paul Fjestad and Jack Blask; and niece, Rita Nyberg.
Otto is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Juvrud of Phoenix, AZ; Brenda (Keith) Schmitz of Andover; and Lisa (Steve) Cordes of Henning; eight grandchildren: Jane, Nicholas and Benjamin Schmitz; James and Joshua Coyle; and Hannah, Molly and Samuel Cordes; great-granddaughter, Sawyer Coyle; brother, Russell (Pat) Juvrud of Henning; sisters: Frances Blask of Freeport, Ill; and Ardyce Fjestad of Fergus Falls; brothers-in-law: Kenneth Nyberg (Phyllis) of Vining and Leland Nyberg (Carolyn) of Hibbing; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
