Lyman Lee, age 84, of Wadena, Minnesota passed away on December 12, 2022, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena. Memorial Services will be held later in the spring.
Lyman James Lee was born on April 25, 1938, to Leonard and Rose (Baribeau) Lee in Pierce County, Wisconsin. He attended Annandale High School, graduating with the class of 1956.
On July 9, 1960, Lyman was united in marriage to Norma Veden in Wadena, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Brenda, Joanne, Sally, Steven and Eric.
Lyman served in the United States Army from 1958 with the 101st Airborne until his honorable discharge in 1960. He was employed with Western Electric which became part of AT&T. He also enjoyed gardening and winemaking. He was also known as Santa at the Wadena Elks Club of which he was a charter member.
Preceding Lyman in death are his parents: Leonard and Rose; sisters: Shirley, Dorothy, Norma, Judy and Pauline; and brothers: Arlan and Norman
Lyman is survived by his loving wife: Norma; children: Brenda (Mark) Reger; Joanne (Stephen) Mundfrom; Sally (Richard) Dittrich; Steven (Melissa) Lee; and Eric (Danielle) Lee; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Kathleen Cecka; Carolyn Lee; Janice (Howard) Stein; and Daniel (Lee) Lee; and many other relatives and a host of friends.
