James Roland Kampsula

James Roland Kampsula was born on May 17, 1940, at home in New York Mills, Minnesota to Jack and Esther (Niemela) Kampsula.

James proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1981 to 1996, dedicating 15 years to military service.

James passed away on February 24, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bobby, and Rodney; his sisters, Irene and Lorraine; and son, Gregory Kampsula.

James is survived by his sons: Wayne (Melissa) Kampsula; Jeffrey Kampsula; Jack Kampsula; and Mishawn Kampsula; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Carol Lessila; many other relatives and a host of friends.
