Debra Jean (Hahn) Stingley

Debra Jean (Hahn) Stingley, 56, of Wadena, MN, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, MN.

Debra Jean Hahn was born on May 1, 1965, in Wadena, MN to Darold and Jean (Wendt) Hahn. She grew up and attended school in Verndale, MN.

Debra was united in marriage to David Stingley in 1981 in Bluegrass, Minnesota and had two sons together: Theran and Shawn. The couple moved to Colorado where David was stationed before he was deployed overseas, and Debra moved back to Wadena to be with family. When David returned from deployment the couple moved to Redwing, MN in 1987 and resided there for 13 years. They later divorced. Six years later she welcomed a daughter Crystal with Rocky Carpenter.

Debra went to school in Wadena to become a nurse and she worked as a nurse in Redwing.

Debra enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, puzzles, board games, reading, camping, and gardening. She was a big animal lover especially cats. She loved spending time with her family whenever she could.

Deeply loved, Debra’s passing will be mourned by her children Theran, Shawn, and Crystal (Tyler) Dailey; her grandchildren Kaelyn Hongerholt, Olivia Stingley, and Leela Stingley; her brothers David Hahn and Brent (Cheryl) Hahn, and many nieces and nephews.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jeff and Mike.
