Becky Torgerson

Becky Marie Ellingson was born on September 12, 1983 in Wadena, Minnesota to Ronald and Terry Lynn (Loock) Ellingson.  Becky graduated from the Henning High School with the class of 2002.  She was employed at B&D’s Grocery Store in Henning.

On November 17, 2005 Becky was united in marriage with Daniel Steven Johnson in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.  They made their home in Perham, Minnesota where Becky was employed at United Community Bank as a teller. Becky furthered her education at Axia College of University of Phoenix, graduating in 2007.

Becky and Daniel enjoyed the outdoors together where they would go fishing and riding their four wheelers.  Daniel passed away on July 27, 2015.  Becky continued to reside in Perham and recently moved to Dent, Minnesota.

On March 14, 2023 Becky passed away at her home in Dent, Minnesota at 39 years of age.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Terry Lynn; paternal grandparents: Orrel and Norma Ellingson; and maternal grandparents: Henry and Ruth Loock.

Becky is survived by her father, Ronald Ellingson; stepfather, Ricky Peterson; siblings: Denise Frederick (Matt Carter); Ronald Ellingson Jr.; Brooke Ellingson; Olivia Fremo; Teira Shaw; Adam Peterson; Colt Cuningham; and Cody Cuningham; significant other: Tyler Stanbrough; nieces: Sophie and Brinlee; many other relatives and a host of friends.
