Jean Marie (Anderson) Landin was born June 18, 1972 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Terry and Lynn (Ruona) Anderson. Jean and her twin sister, Jen, were baptized on December 1, 1974 and confirmed on June 7, 1987 at the Congregational Church in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Jean grew up in Detroit Lakes and graduated with the Detroit Lakes High School Class of 1990.
On May 22, 2004, Jean was united in marriage to Ken Landin at the Congregational Church in Detroit Lakes. Jean was employed at Lund Boat for seventeen years, retiring on August 8, 2017 due to her health.
Jean enjoyed tubing, camping, four-wheeling, crafting, having fun at concerts and loved going to WE Fest every year to see all her family.
On Saturday, November 16, 2019 Jean entered eternal rest at her home, surrounded by her loving family and the gentle care of hospice. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Preceding her in death by her twin sister, Jen Mindermann; grandparents: Lorraine & Wayne Ruona, Velma & Alvin Anderson; aunt, Gwen Ruona; cousin; Jason Wentzel; and mother-in-law, Muriel Frost.
Survived by her loving husband, Ken Landin of New York Mills; parents: Terry and Lynn Anderson of Detroit Lakes; nephews: Matthew Lillis of Cushing; Terry Lillis of Minneapolis; numerous other relatives and many friends.
