Jerold LeRoy Stewart was born December 17, 1960 to Donald and Carol (Loomer) Stewart in Wadena, Minnesota. Raised in Clitherall township on the family farm, he was baptized at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church and confirmed at Nidaros Lutheran Church. Jerold graduated from the Battle Lake High School with the class of 1979. He moved to Sheldon, ND and worked in Gwinner, ND at the Bob Cat factory. Jer also worked for a sanitation company in Enderline, ND. After Jer moved back to Minnesota, he met his future wife Deneice Jesnowski and they were married on August 31, 1991 at Nidaros Lutheran Church in rural Clitherall, Minnesota.
Jerold worked for various road construction companies over the years: Mark Sand and Gravel and PJ’s in Parkers Prairie. Jer enjoyed many interests, like tinkering with engines and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed weekends at the family cabin on Belmont Lake. He always was a practical joker and his family will miss his humor and laughter.
On November 3, 2018, Jerold entered the Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and passed away on November 4, 2018. Jerold was preceded in death by his father-in-law Donald Jesnowski and niece Stacy Stewart.
He is survived by his wife: Deneice; son: Shane (Noel) Stewart; daughter: Kodie Stewart; parents: Donald and Carol Stewart; brother Tom (Shirley) Stewart; sister: Jodi Peterson; mother-in-law: Charlotte Carr as well as many nieces and nephews.
